At Tag It On this week the challenge has been to produce a Tag with an Image of the Moon on It.
Here Is mine.
I have used TH Distress Inks both for background colour and to stamp with, I used circles punched from post its as masks for the moon and it's reflection in the water, and just love the serenity of the scene I created.
I also found one answer to my own question of what to do with a Tag once I had made it, as you can see below.
This one turned into a really nice Easel Style Birthday Card for one of my friends.

Hi Bee, This tag is gorgeous and ...you said it yourself...serene...just the right word. I love your last tag too with the alcohol inks...scrummy. x x
ReplyDeleteOOOO this is beautifully evocative. Love your masking and it's clever to have made an easal card with it too... I never have a prob making cards with my tags...they are a ready made topper when you have made them, especially if you are inventive with the size and shape of "tag". Thanks for dreaming with us

ReplyDeleteYour tag is beautiful Bee, I love the reflection of the moon on the water. I too use my tag's on card's, but have never made an easel card from one. Love Elizabeth xxx
ReplyDeleteFunny I was thinking how serene the tag looked and then you uttered the very same word, the mirrored moon looks amazing and turning it into an easel card is inspired TFS XXX
ReplyDeleteI Love this, and I love the idea of the Easel Tag card, I must try it myself!!! I love your background and your stamping and the whole look of it, and I love it because my current favourite 'old' song is Moonlight Shadow and I can't stop watching it and sighing over Mike Oldfield again on You Tube!! LOL! Superb tag! :o) xx
